• The tutorial indicator in the media details screen now correctly points to the information button.

We’ve significantly improved the performance of your gallery! Scrolling through your photos and videos is now perfectly fluid, even if you have a massive collection of videos.

Additionally, we’ve added a smart data-saving feature. The app will now intelligently download high-quality thumbnails from iCloud only when you’re connected to Wi-Fi, helping you preserve your mobile data plan.

We’ve resolved an issue where the names you assigned to people in your photos could sometimes disappear when you imported new images. Now, your customized face labels will be reliably preserved!

• Faster Video Thumbnails: We’ve optimized the app so that video thumbnails display much faster than before, making scrolling through your library a smoother experience.
• Audio Fix: Fixed an issue where video sound would sometimes continue playing after closing or leaving the app.

We’ve added a new “Eco Mode” (Screensaver) that automatically darkens your screen during long indexing processes. It displays friendly, time-contextual messages while working quietly in the background. This is perfect for letting Memoria process your photos overnight without draining your battery or risking OLED burn-in! You can also activate it manually anytime by tapping the “Moon” icon in the progress bar.

You will now see a handy pop-up window listing all the new features and improvements right after you update the app. No more guessing what changed!

You can now manually dismiss in-app notifications (toasts) simply by swiping them away with your finger. This gives you more control over your screen space!

• Fixed an issue where searching by objects wouldn’t work correctly if the app’s language differed from the device’s system language.
• Fixed a bug where English object tags were not properly saved during the analysis of new photos.

Improved artificial intelligence for object detection: the application is now capable of identifying a larger number of objects while minimizing incorrect or unlikely detections in your photos.

• Smoother Scrolling: We’ve resolved a lag issue that occurred when scrolling through search results, making the experience much more fluid.
• Accidental Opening Prevention: We’ve adjusted the sensitivity of the pull-down gesture used to open the search bar. You now need to pull down further, preventing the search from opening accidentally while navigating your gallery.

• Fixed an issue on the iPad where the header remained visible in full-screen mode.
• Fixed the Info button on the iPad, which now correctly shows and hides the sidebar.

We’ve completely rebuilt our AI transcription engine, making full-text search in your videos much more stable and eliminating crashes related to the old engine.

Instant indexing pause

Pausing the analysis process is now instant. It immediately stops the current media being processed, saving your battery and phone’s processor right away.

Reliable startup

Media indexing now starts immediately and reliably right after you finish the initial setup.

Storage cleanup

We’ve freed up your phone’s storage by automatically removing old, unused transcription models.

Helpful tooltips fixed

The helpful tooltips (coach marks) no longer close accidentally if you tap nearby, and the tooltip for the re-analyze button is visible again.

Smoother media deletion

The navigation smoothly scrolls to the next media item after you delete one, so you can continue your workflow without interruption.
